Antibiotica

Als een liefhebber bij me komt in de kliniek en zijn duiven hebben last van ernstige klachten zoals bijvoorbeeld longontsteking of een andere ernstige luchtwegaandoening, dan ben ook ik maar wat blij dat we als medici de mogelijkheid hebben om de dieren met antibiotica te kunnen helpen. Wat ik maar wil zeggen is dat ik niet tegen het gebruik van antibiotica ben. Het bestaan er van is in vele gevallen een zegen. Maar waar ik niet zo gelukkig mee ben is het te pas en te onpas gebruik maken van antibiotica om lichte kwaaltjes te verhelpen die ook op andere manieren te voorkomen zijn.
